Check the arithmetic

Don't take our word for it.

Put your own price in. The only line that changes is Stripe's, and Stripe bills you for that directly. Ours stays at zero on every plan, including the free one.

Try a small sale, too — below about a dollar, Stripe's fixed fee costs more than the sale earns. We show that rather than hiding it.

At a 5% platform fee, that sale would also cost you $2.45. Here it costs $0.00.

What you can sell

If it downloads, streams or logs in — you can sell it here.

One product, one price, one link is the five-minute version. Everything underneath is there when you need it, and none of it costs extra.

Ebooks and guides

Upload the PDF, set a price, share the link. Buyers get a download link that expires on your schedule — an hour, a week, or never.

Courses and cohorts

Charge in full, or split it: “3 payments of $99” stops on its own after the third. Open with a free trial if the first module is the hook.

Templates and presets

Low price, high volume, no per-sale fee eating it. Add a one-click bump — the matching pack, the extra fonts — before they pay.

Software and tools

Sell it once or as a subscription, deliver the build from private storage, and let buyers manage their own billing without emailing you.

Music, art and assets

Let people name their price with a floor you set — or run two prices against live traffic and keep whichever earns more.

Memberships

Monthly or yearly, with automatic retries and dunning emails when a card fails so a lapsed renewal doesn't quietly become churn.

How it works

Three steps between you and your first sale.

You can build the whole thing and rehearse it end to end on a test card before a single real pound moves.

  1. Add your product

Name, price, and the file or link buyers get. Two minutes. Add bumps, instalments or a trial later — you don't need them to make the first sale.

  2. Connect your Stripe

Your own account, through Stripe's own onboarding. Until it's connected your checkout won't take money — we'd rather block it than let a payment land somewhere wrong.

  3. Share the link

Or embed it, or drop it into your store. Money goes straight to your Stripe balance and pays out on your own schedule.

Where it lives

Put the checkout wherever you already sell.

You don't have to move your audience somewhere new to take their money. Four ways in, all on every plan.

A link you can paste anywhere

Every product gets a shareable page. Put it in a bio, a newsletter, a DM. Nothing to install and nothing to host.

Drop in an iframe or a script tag and the checkout runs inside your page. There's a button builder in the dashboard if you'd rather not write the markup.

How it settles

We are not in the middle of your money.

Most platforms that advertise a low fee still sit between your buyer and your bank, which is what makes the fee possible to raise later. We are structurally somewhere else.

Your buyer
Your Stripe account
Your bank

EmbPay builds the checkout and the funnel around this flow. It never appears inside it.

  1. 01

Your buyer pays on your checkout

Card details go from the buyer's browser to Stripe directly. They are never posted to an EmbPay server, so there is nothing for us to store, leak, or lose.

  2. 02

The charge lands on your Stripe account

Not ours with a payout to you afterwards — the charge itself belongs to your account from the moment it exists. Stripe calls this a direct charge.

  3. 03

    Stripe settles to your bank

On your own payout schedule, under your own Stripe agreement. We never hold your money, so we can never delay it, freeze it, or take a percentage on the way past.

There is no code path where your sale passes through us.

That is not a policy we could quietly revise — it is the shape of the integration. Taking a cut of a direct charge requires adding an application fee to it, and there isn't one anywhere in this codebase.

Sell where your audience is

Take money in the currency they think in

USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD — or any code via the API
Those five are in the product form. The API takes any Stripe-supported currency and gets the minor units right, including zero-decimal ones like JPY and three-decimal ones like KWD.
Charged in the currency you set
You pick it per product and your buyer pays in it. Prices aren't silently converted based on where someone happens to be.
Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay
Whatever Stripe supports on your account is what your checkout offers. We don't maintain a shorter list of our own.
Your Stripe agreement, your rates
Payouts run on your own schedule under your own Stripe terms. We're not a party to it, so we can't change it.
The honest comparison

The features that make you money shouldn't be behind a paywall.

Bumps, upsells, funnels, affiliates and payment recovery are how a checkout actually earns. On EmbPay they're included on every account, and we take nothing from the sale.

Features

Every way of earning is on every plan.

No upgrade unlocks a feature that makes you money — bumps, upsells, funnels, affiliates, A/B tests and recovery are on every plan, including the free one. Paid plans raise limits on what you can set up. One item below is marked Pro; nothing else is.

Sell

The ways money can come in.

One-time, subscriptions and trials
Charge once, bill monthly or yearly, or open with a free or paid trial.
Split-pay instalments
“3 payments of $99” — billing stops on its own after the final one.
Pay what you want
Let buyers name their price, with a floor you set.
Several ways to buy one product
Put pay-in-full beside instalments and let the buyer choose at checkout.
Multi-currency
USD, EUR, GBP, CAD and AUD from the dashboard; any Stripe-supported currency through the API.

Earn more

Included on every plan. This is the column rivals charge extra for.

Order bumps
A one-click add-on on the checkout form, before the buyer pays.
One-click upsells
Charge the card already on file — no second checkout, no re-entry.
Branching funnels
Accept and decline lead somewhere different, chained as far as you like.
Affiliate programme
Referral links, tracked commissions, codes per partner.
Abandoned-cart recovery
Catch the buyers who filled the form and didn't finish.
Coupons
Percentage or fixed, with usage caps and expiry dates.
A/B price testing
Run variants against live traffic and keep the winner.

Deliver

What the buyer gets the moment they pay.

Secure file delivery
Private storage with signed links that expire on your schedule.
Licence keysPro plan
Generated per order, with a key prefix, an activation limit and an optional expiry you set on the product.
Custom receipts
Your wording on the confirmation email, not ours.
Customer portal
Buyers manage their own subscriptions without emailing you.

Run it

The unglamorous parts that decide whether you keep the revenue.

Test mode
Rehearse the whole funnel — payment, emails, delivery — on a test card.
Failed-payment recovery
Automatic retries and dunning emails when a renewal card fails.
Automations
Triggers for purchase, refund, abandoned cart, failed payment and cancellation.
Integrations
Mailchimp, Kit, Klaviyo, Slack, Google Sheets and outbound webhooks.
Refunds you control
Full or partial, issued from your dashboard against your own account.
Blocklist and geo rules
Turn away the orders you don't want before they're charged.
Automations

When someone buys, something else should happen.

Pick a trigger — purchase, refund, abandoned cart, failed payment, cancellation — and wire it to the tools you already use. Or send a signed webhook and do it yourself.

X-EmbPay-Signature

We never block a sale.

No plan limit sits anywhere near your checkout. Not on the free tier, not on any tier. If you outgrow a plan you find out on your dashboard, when you go to add the eleventh product — never as a customer hitting an error while trying to hand you money.

An upgrade prompt is something you can act on. A failed checkout is a sale you already earned and then lost, and you will usually never learn it happened.

A payments platform that drops live transactions to enforce its own billing has broken the only promise that actually matters.

Pricing

Plans change what you can build, never what you can sell.

Upgrading raises limits on the things you set up. It never unlocks a way to take money, and no plan puts a ceiling on your sales.

0%

What EmbPay is not

The list every other landing page leaves out.

You will find out about all of this eventually. Finding out now, from us, costs you an afternoon instead of a migration.

No white-label

Your checkout carries your branding, but EmbPay's name is on the receipt and the customer portal. If you need the platform invisible, we're not it yet.

No custom domain

Checkout pages live on embpay.com, not on checkout.yourbrand.com.

No team accounts

One login per account. There are no seats, roles or permissions to hand a contractor a limited key.

API keys are Scale-only

Building your own integration on top of EmbPay costs $79/month. Webhooks out are on every plan.

Five currencies in the dashboard

USD, EUR, GBP, CAD and AUD in the product form. The API takes any Stripe-supported code, but the dashboard list is short and we'd rather say so than imply otherwise.

Support is email, and it's the same email on every plan

There is no priority queue and no dedicated manager, because there is no second queue to be prioritised over. Paying more does not move you up it.

And we're new.

No customer counts, no volume processed, no logos and no testimonials anywhere on this page — because we'd have to make them up. What we have instead is a fee you can verify with arithmetic and an integration you can verify with a Stripe dashboard. Judge us on those.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

If something here disagrees with what you find in the product, that's a bug in this page — tell us and we'll fix it.

What does EmbPay actually cost per sale?

Nothing. The platform fee is 0% on every plan including the free one. Stripe charges its own processing fee — usually 2.9% + 30¢ — and bills you for it directly on your own Stripe account. We never add to it and never take a cut.

Where does the money go?

Straight into your own Stripe account. Each sale is a Stripe direct charge, which means the charge belongs to your account from the moment it exists and you are the merchant of record. We never hold your funds, so we can't delay or freeze them.

Is there a limit on how much I can sell?

No, on any plan. Orders are uncapped on the free tier and on both paid tiers, and no plan check sits anywhere in the payment path — so a billing limit can never cause your customer's checkout to fail.

What do the paid plans actually unlock?

Pro ($29/month) removes the 10-product limit and adds licence-key products — choose the key prefix, how many machines one key may activate, and whether it expires. Scale ($79/month) adds API keys for your own integrations. That's the complete list — bumps, upsells, funnels, affiliates and A/B tests are all on the free plan.

Which currencies can I sell in?

The product form offers USD, EUR, GBP, CAD and AUD. The API accepts any Stripe-supported currency code and handles the minor units correctly, including zero-decimal ones like JPY. You choose the currency per product and your buyer is charged in it — prices are not converted automatically based on where the buyer is.

Do I need a Stripe account to start?

To get paid, yes — and it's your own account, not a sub-account of ours. You can build products, design your checkout and rehearse the whole funnel in test mode before connecting anything.

Take control of every transaction today

Create a product, connect Stripe, share the link. Your first checkout can be live in minutes — and it costs you nothing per sale.
