Checkout for digital products, settled to your own Stripe.
EmbPay is the checkout layer on top of your own Stripe account: products, checkout, bumps, upsells, subscriptions, licence keys and delivery. The money is never ours to hold, and we take none of it.
Four steps, and EmbPay is not one of them.
The arrangement that makes a 0% platform fee possible is not generosity — it is that we are never in the payment path at all.
- 1
The buyer pays on your checkout
A hosted product page, a shareable payment link, an embedded checkout on your own site, or a session created through the API. The card details go straight to Stripe and never touch an EmbPay form.
- 2
Stripe charges your account directly
Each sale is a Stripe direct charge on your own connected account. You are the merchant of record: the charge belongs to your account from the moment it exists.
- 3
Stripe pays you on your own schedule
Payouts are Stripe's, on the schedule set in your Stripe dashboard. EmbPay never holds the money, so we cannot delay a payout, freeze a balance, or lose one.
- 4
Stripe bills you its processing fee
Usually 2.9% + 30¢, charged by Stripe under your own agreement with them. EmbPay adds nothing to it and takes no percentage of the sale on any plan.
A checkout that earns, not just one that charges.
Every capability listed here is available on the free plan. Paid plans raise limits; they never unlock a way to sell.
Sell
One-time purchases, subscriptions, free and paid trials, split-pay instalments, pay-what-you-want, and several pricing options on a single product.
Convert
Order bumps, one-click upsells, branching upsell funnels, an affiliate programme, coupons, abandoned-cart recovery and A/B price tests — all on every plan, including the free one.
Deliver
Expiring signed download links, custom receipt emails, a customer portal where buyers manage their own subscriptions, and licence keys with a prefix, activation limit and optional expiry.
Operate
Test mode, failed-payment dunning, automations, outbound webhooks, integrations with Mailchimp, Kit, Klaviyo, Slack and Google Sheets, full and partial refunds, and blocklist and geo rules.
Licence keys and API keys are on the Pro plan — the pricing page lists exactly what each plan gates, and the help centre explains how each feature works.
We are new, and this page is not going to pretend otherwise.
There are no customer counts, logos, volume-processed figures or star ratings anywhere on this site. Not because they would not help, but because we would have to invent them. Here is the same list of gaps that appears on the homepage.
No white-label
Your checkout carries your branding, but EmbPay's name is on the receipt and the customer portal. If you need the platform invisible, we're not it yet.
No custom domain
Checkout pages live on embpay.com, not on checkout.yourbrand.com.
No team accounts
One login per account. There are no seats, roles or permissions to hand a contractor a limited key.
No marketplace, no storefront
EmbPay brings you no buyers. There is no discover feed and no catalogue page; you send people to each product page or embed yourself.
Five currencies in the dashboard
USD, EUR, GBP, CAD and AUD in the product form. The API takes any Stripe-supported code, but the dashboard list is short and we'd rather say so than imply otherwise.
Support is email, and it's the same email on every plan
There is no priority queue and no dedicated manager, because there is no second queue to be prioritised over. Paying more does not move you up it.
Questions go to a person, at one address.
Email support@embpay.com — the same address on every plan, because there is no second queue to be prioritised over. Product questions, migration questions, and corrections to anything on this site are all welcome at it.
