EmbPay
The honest comparison

EmbPay vs SamCart: what each one charges, and what each one gates.

SamCart sells its checkout features in tiers: order bumps, one-click upsells, funnels, the affiliate centre and subscription recovery each sit behind the Pro plan, and its own processor, SamPay, takes a cut of each sale. EmbPay includes all of those on every plan, and takes 0% of the sale.

Where the money goes

Same sale, different route.

SamCart's processor list is "SamPay (powered by Stripe)" or your own Stripe account. SamPay is a revenue line for SamCart. On EmbPay every sale is a direct charge on your own Stripe account: Stripe bills you its processing fee, EmbPay bills you nothing per sale, and the money never passes through us.

Where EmbPay falls short

The part of the comparison we would rather you read here.

If any of these matter to you, SamCart may be the better fit today. We would rather lose the comparison than win it with an omission.

No white-label

Your checkout carries your branding, but EmbPay's name is on the receipt and the customer portal. If you need the platform invisible, we're not it yet.

No custom domain

Checkout pages live on embpay.com, not on checkout.yourbrand.com.

No team accounts

One login per account. There are no seats, roles or permissions to hand a contractor a limited key.

API keys are Scale-only

Building your own integration on top of EmbPay costs $79/month. Webhooks out are on every plan.

Five currencies in the dashboard

USD, EUR, GBP, CAD and AUD in the product form. The API takes any Stripe-supported code, but the dashboard list is short and we'd rather say so than imply otherwise.

Support is email, and it's the same email on every plan

There is no priority queue and no dedicated manager, because there is no second queue to be prioritised over. Paying more does not move you up it.

No card required. Build products and rehearse the whole funnel in test mode before connecting anything.
