Sell digital products online from your own site, with a 0% platform fee.
A digital product is anything you can deliver as a file, a link, a key or a set of instructions. EmbPay is the checkout: a hosted page or an embed on your own site, card payment settled directly to your own Stripe account, delivery the moment it clears, and no percentage taken by the platform on any plan.
Pick your product type for the specifics.
Each guide covers the formats buyers expect, how that product is usually priced, how to package it for delivery, and which parts of EmbPay matter for it.

Sell GIFs online
GIFs are one of the few digital products that people buy in packs rather than one at a time: a set of reaction GIFs for a streamer's chat, animated stickers for a messaging app, a folder of seamless loops for video editors.

Sell PDFs online
A PDF is the simplest digital product there is: a guide, a workbook, a checklist, a research report, a meal plan.

Sell ebooks online
Selling an ebook through a retailer gives you distribution and takes a share of every copy for it.

Stock agencies pay photographers a fraction of each licence in exchange for a shop window.

Sell digital stickers online
Digital stickers are a product with three very different buyers: planner users who drop PNG stickers into GoodNotes or Notability, artists who want a Procreate sticker set, and people who want a personal pack for their messaging app.

Sell digital art online
Digital artists sell three different things and usually try to sell them through one marketplace listing: the finished piece as a printable file, the working files for other artists, and their time as commissions.

A Canva template is not a file.

Sell Notion templates online
A Notion template is a page the buyer duplicates into their own workspace, so the product you are really selling is a link, and the whole business rests on that link staying private until someone has paid.

Sell software online
Selling a desktop app, a plugin, a script or a small SaaS licence has one requirement the other digital products do not: the buyer needs a key, and your software needs a way to check it.

Sell clipart online
Clipart buyers are mostly other makers: teachers building worksheets, crafters cutting vinyl, small businesses making their own social posts.

Good notes are the most requested thing in any course group chat, and the student who wrote them usually gives them away.

Sell videos online
Video sells in three shapes: a tutorial or masterclass people download and keep, stock footage that editors license clip by clip, and a lesson series that lives behind a link.

Sell printable posters online
A printable poster is the digital product with the best margins in the category: no printing, no shipping, no stock, and a buyer who wants the file within the hour because the frame is already on the wall.

Sell AI prompts online
A prompt pack is the most copyable product on the internet, which is why the prompt marketplaces exist: they hide the text until payment.
Four ways a product reaches the buyer.
You choose one per product when you create it. Every one of them is released only after a successful payment.
A file we host
Upload one file per product, up to 500 MB. Buyers get a private link that expires after the window you set, from one hour to never; the default is one day.
A link you host
Point the product at a page, a drive folder or a video host. The buyer is sent there only after payment, and can reopen the link from their email or customer hub.
A licence key
For software: a key with your prefix, an activation limit per key and an optional expiry, plus an endpoint your application calls to verify it. Pro plan.
Instructions
For commissions, services and anything you fulfil by hand: the buyer sees the text you wrote after paying, and again in their receipt.
Included on the free plan, whatever you sell.
- One-time prices, subscriptions, limited-cycle plans, split-pay instalments and pay-what-you-want with a floor, up to six options on one product
- Up to five order bumps on the checkout and a branching one-click upsell funnel after payment
- Percentage and fixed-amount coupons with usage caps and expiry dates
- Affiliate links with a commission rate you set and a 30-day attribution window
- One abandoned-checkout recovery email, if you turn it on
- A customer hub where buyers re-download, find their key and manage a subscription without a password
- Signed webhooks for your own systems, and integrations with Mailchimp, Kit, Klaviyo, MailerLite, Slack and Google Sheets
- Test mode to rehearse the whole purchase with a test card before anything is live
Not included, so you are not surprised later: a marketplace or storefront that brings its own buyers, custom domains, watermarking, and course or membership hosting. EmbPay sells the product; the audience is yours to bring.
