How study notes are priced in practice.
Single-module notes tend to sell for a few dollars, low enough to buy without asking a parent; full-year or exam-board bundles sell in the tens.
Students buy under time pressure, close to the exam, so the product page should say exactly what is covered and for which syllabus year. Keep single modules cheap, offer the adjacent module as an order bump, and make the year bundle the one-click upsell after payment. A coupon shared in a study group turns one buyer into a class.

Create the product
In the dashboard, add a product with a name, description and price. Choose how it is delivered: upload a file, point to a hosted URL, issue a licence key, or show instructions after purchase.

Package your study notes
Package one module as one product: the notes PDF, any flashcard deck in Anki or CSV form, and mind maps or diagrams as images, zipped together. EmbPay hosts one file per product, up to 500 MB. Name the product with the module code and the year, because that is how the next cohort searches. A full-year bundle is a separate product that zips the modules together at a lower combined price.

Share the link or embed the checkout
Every product has a hosted page you can link from anywhere, and an embed snippet for your own site. Connect your Stripe account and buyers can pay; until then the page says the product is not on sale yet.

Selling study notes: the questions we get.
Am I allowed to sell notes from my course?
Notes in your own words are generally yours; copying lecture slides or textbook pages is not. Check your institution's policy. EmbPay sells what you upload and does not review it, so the responsibility for what is in the file is yours.
Can a buyer share the PDF with their friends?
Once downloaded, yes; no platform can stop that. What EmbPay controls is the link, which expires after the window you set, so a shared link stops working quickly. A low price and a group coupon make buying easier than sharing.
How do I update notes when the syllabus changes?
Replace the product file and new buyers get the new version. Put the year in the product name and the filename so nobody is confused about which edition they have.
Do I need a business to sell?
You need a Stripe account, and Stripe's own onboarding will ask about you or your business according to your country's rules. EmbPay does not add requirements on top; it connects to whatever Stripe approves.
What does EmbPay charge?
A 0% platform fee on every plan. The free plan allows two products. Stripe bills its card processing fee on your account and nothing else is deducted.
