What buyers can do for themselves
Buyers reach their purchases through an emailed link, with no account or password, and can cancel or resume a subscription themselves.
There are no buyer accounts and no buyer passwords. A customer enters the email address they bought with and receives a link that opens their purchases.
The response is deliberately the same whether or not that address has ever bought anything, so the page cannot be used to find out who your customers are. The link is good for thirty minutes, and so is the session it opens.
What they can do
- See their purchases.
- Download their files, while the download window is still open.
- Copy their licence keys.
- Cancel a subscription at the end of the period they have paid for.
- Resume a subscription they cancelled, as long as the period has not ended.
- Request a link by email to Stripe's own billing portal.
What they cannot do
They cannot cancel immediately and end a period they have already paid for, pause a subscription, or switch between your plans. Those stay with you, in your dashboard.
Still stuck?
Email support@embpay.com. It is the same address on every plan — there is no priority queue to be prioritised over. If something on this page disagrees with what the product does, that is a bug in this page and we want to hear about it.
